Robert Wong is founding Partner and Managing Director of Robert Wong Consultores Associados, active in high level consulting through lectures, professional coaching and special executive search projects.

Prior to opening these two firms in 2005, Wong was Senior Partner at Korn Ferry International, the worldwide executive search firm, which he joined in January 1989 and was a member of its Executive Board. He held the position of President/CEO of its Brazilian operations from 1995 to 2002 and was the company’s South American Regional Director from 2000 to 2002. He was elected by his peers as a member of the Board of Directors of Korn Ferry International and was chosen by The Economist in their The Global 200 Guide as one of the world top headhunters based on his genuine interest in people and his unique ability to identify true talent. Wong s professional experience included a 2 year stint in Beijing where he opened a rep office for 15 Brazilian companies interested in trade with China. His professional life began in a trading company, Panambra, in São Paulo followed by a 6-year career in a major contracting firm where he held the position of International Manager.

Wong graduated from the Escola Politecnica at the University of São Paulo with a Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, received a Confederation of British Industry Scholarship for his post graduate studies in the UK, and undertook an Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School. Wong is a Board member of several NGOs and educational institutions, such as FIA USP (chosen the top executive education program in Brazil ), SIFE Students in Free Enterprise, Colegio Sidarta, and Instituto CEO do Futuro ( a program to identify and coach college students with CEO potential), and Nos do Cinema ( a program to foment art and culture among underprivileged students ).

Tricultural born in China, educated in American schools, and raised in Brazil Wong was born in 1948. He is author of the book Success is to be in Equilibrium, which is already on the best seller list. He is considered to be one of the most inspirational public speakers and was the first Brazilian to be invited to speak at the HSM Expomanagement Forum to a public of 5,000 participants.
