Pedro Fernández is a recognized Art Consultant and Chef who earned the Grand Diploma Cordon Bleu of Paris in 1998.

As a freelance Art Consultant working with private and corporate collectors, artists, galleries and art fairs in Colombia, Mr. Fernandez joined Global Strategic Advise Services after a successful career that has spanned over the last 20 years in the United States, France, England, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia.

Specializing in Asian and Caribbean fusion cuisine, Pedro has excelled as a Chef for prestigious restaurants in Europe, USA and South America and has an outstanding record as an entrepreneur in the food industry. His success story includes prominent positions at The Pharmacy in London (owned by Damien Hirst), Chef at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Key Biscayne and Executive Chef & Food and Beverage Manager of Team Alinghi – America’s Cup World Champion. In addition, Pedro has been Chef & Restaurant Owner at Naboa in Valencia – Spain, Chef & Restaurant Owner of Khalu in Buenos Aires – Argentina and founder of Posada Agua Verde Boutique Hotel in Punta del Este – Uruguay in a joint venture with Urubiru Nicolas Garcia, one of the greatest Argentine contemporary painters.

Pedro has also emerged as a successful entrepreneur in other business areas, occupying the positions of Director of the successful show “Codigo Latino” for the Gourmet TV Network and General Manager of Oxigeno Infinito – a vertical integration development which is one of the forestry companies with the greatest potential in Colombia. Currently based in Medellin – Colombia, he received his training in Business Administration at Universidad de la Sabana and Boston University.

Pedro holds the Spanish and Colombian nationalities, is fluent in Spanish, English and French, has great networking capabilities, strong public relations skills and moves with great property in the art world, highlighting his great interest in photography and the various schools of modern art in Latin America.
