Jean-Pierre ” J P” Turgeon is a Partner for Global Human Capital Solutions in Canada. He has worked for more than twenty five years in various industry sectors. His skills include international P&L management, sales and marketing. He has worked for both corporate groups and in various start-up projects along his career.

His corporate time includes ten years with General Electric (1977-1986): in small appliances division as a Sales Representative and Manager; in plastic and silicone division as OEM Account Management; and Aerospace Sales Management. He also worked for GE Trading Company (GETC) as a Trader.

As an entrepreneur, JP owned and operated a small real-estate company that developed commercial and residential real-estate. He sold the business to a larger developer. He then owned and managed a pet food manufacturing company (1989-2004) that had three different manufacturing plants and sold it to a multinational in 2004.

JP also worked as a Consultant for a marketing strategist in Bentonville Arkansas (2005-2006). He owned and operated a small mining company in Guinea (2007-present).

Jean-Pierre and his lovely life companion of more than 25 years Julie have no children. He is an avid sailor who races sailboats up and down the east coast of North America. He is a bilingual French Canadian citizen born in Montreal from a family of four brothers and sisters.
