Elena is an experienced professional in human capital services and solutions with a proven track record having worked in both public and private organizations, including start-ups and important infrastructure groups. She is an international advisor with Strategic Global Advice Services in Mexico City

Elena is a founder of EB Consulting with ample experience in supporting M&As programs, coaching, assessments and taking responsibility over the employee engagement, environment and talent retention processes.

Her more recent assignment was as a Human Resources VP for a technology start-up, KIONETWORKS taking it from 300 to 3,000 employees. The challenge included the re-organization of five different companies in a two-year period, focusing on revenue and overall bottom-line results. Elena created new models for costumers, measurements for both technical and soft skills competences for the entire workforce in less than three months (talent vs level) increasing the costumer´s ticket value.

Elena’s corporate career includes important years working as head of Human Resources with Citigroup Mexico- a company with over 6000 employees responsible for monitoring the expansion from 15 offices to 500 in one-year objective, with a challenging assignment of implanting new models during this aggressive growth and integrating period for this leading financial services group.

Elena also worked for a private airline Aereolineas Ejecutivas as Human Resources Manager growing the group up to 65 private airplanes and the staff supporting the group.
In 2000, she was Human Resources Manager for La Salle Group, with more than 14,000 students and 2,500 employees. During her five-year tenure many innovative practices were implemented.

Elena worked in a major startup in the telecoms area in 1995 Protel where she initiated a Human Resources function and grew the company to becoming a profitable organization with branches all over the country. Elena started her career in Human Resources working for the Mexico’s public sector in several government entities taking challenges of building a division of Training for the entire country.

Elena has a BA and MA in Human Resources from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, where she is also a Professor. She has two Diplomas from UCLA and MIT and is an executive Coach with PM Institute. She is a Business Consultant with the Japanese Government. She is also a writer in major magazines and forums. She is single and has three grown-up children. Elena is fluent in English and Spanish and she is on the Board of several organizations.
Member of SHRM (International society of human resources management) and SALES ENABLEMENT (International of sales association).
Personally, likes to do Route Bike and love to travel doing it. Spends some time in Miami Florida, where she has family and also in Valle de Bravo Mexico where she has a home.
